After our previous CrossFit gym closed, I was in a straight panic to find another Crossfit gym. To be honest, I thought it was going to be impossible to find one that would be a good fit for all the members that were unfortunately in the same boat. After searching, I came across Masá, so I figured that day I would drop by. My first impression was wow this place is spacious and I loved the garage doors. Once I worked out with the members, I knew this was going to be more than just a gym.
My first bright spot was honestly conditioning myself for the NYPD. I knew I was always athletic, but this time around I knew I had to increase my stamina and endurance. After training with Itamar and working towards my goal, crushing the physical because of all the hard work we put in was the best bright spot.
Currently, I’m working on just maintaining a healthy life style. Now that Sarah and I have settled into new jobs and our new house, I want to focus on getting a routine in place.
If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to not have given up the way I did when I first started CrossFit and to keep on pushing and working towards something new even if it seems impossible.
